Jeez it's been ages. Isn't it crap? I used to love writing my blogs while I was away but now that I'm home I have nobody to update. And I have nothing to update them with. Unemployment doesn't exactly breed interesting news updates, apart from what happened today on 3rd Rock From the Sun (Dick and Sally became obsessed with beanie babies. Needless to say, chaos ensued). I am looking for jobs but so far only jobs that I actually want. Soon enough though I'm gonna have to just cut that crap out and start looking for ANYTHING! IT's getting pretty bad. I've been unemployed nearly a month now. Bold Cha, bold!
Me n Bren are moving into a new place in Dublin at the weekend. Can't wait. At least then I have a base. It's a little cottage off Dorset St with a load of kitties in the back garden. I'm dying to move in and start living a proper life that doesn't involve begging people for the use of the spare side of their bed Not that that hasn't been fun.
Apart from that, no news. I'm stone cold broke and trying to live the hermit life so I will be able to pay my rent. I'm being very good, but I know one of these days I'm gonna crack and decide I@ve been so good I should treat myself and there goes all my good work. Anyway, that's all my news. I just felt like having a bit of a blog. That's all.
Hopefully this'll keep Mulderry off my case for a while too

A quick one
Hey guys,
I've been very unbloggy lately. There was ages there where I didnt have any internet and now I do and there seems to be too much to say, or all the little things seem like ages ago. Anyway, we're in Washington D.C. at the moment which is a beautiful city but we got rained on really badly yesterday and we had musicfestivalitis (ie the feeling that everything in the world is wet and there's no way out) which is crap cos today, even though its sunny, my shoes are still wet, despite my best efforts.
A quick recap, we started off in New York where we pretty much just wandered arounf seeing whatever. Emmet bought Bren a movie tour for his birthday so we did that. It was pretty good but focussed slightly too much on Enchanted, I Am Legend and Spiderman (GO SPIDEY!!!) so yer pretty screwed if yer not into those films. Then , as another birthday bonus, Becky got Bren a ticket for the NBC Studio Tour which was deadly cos we were lucky enough to go on a day where they were showing the Saturday Night Live studio. Apparently you dont always get to do that, its the luck of the draw. It's either that or the newsroom or the Good Morning America (or soemthing) studio. Anyway, it was soooo cooooool to see the SNL studio. Gonna try get tickets next Saturday, Probably wont happen but you never know. Then that night we went to see Young Frankenstein the Musical which was really good (we have Wicked tickets for the night before HAlloween I cant wait i cant wait).
Last weekend we went to Boston and Bren's Auntie Susan brought us on a road trip up through New Hampshire and Maine, all the way to Stephen King's house. That was pretty cool. He lives in an amazing blood-red mansion with cast iron bats and spiders and dragons on his fence. No, honestly he does. There's pictures up in my "New England Adventure" folder
Then we spent a few days hanging around Boston and Rockport which was a nice relaxing break from the craziness of New York. Then thursday we went back to NY for one night. It was pure mentalness. We stayed in Harlem and oh my god is that place crazy!! Seriously I'd say that 75% of the population is totally and absolutely mental. Ugh, not a great place to holiday...but an interesting few hours. That evening we went to Greenwich Village for a wander and we came across a pub that served O'Hara's stout all the way from that tiny little building beside the Carlow train station. So we HAD TO get a pint of that. It was bleedin gorgeous. Can't wait to get back to Carlow now
We've been in D.C. since Friday, having a really nice time, except the wetness. There a ridiculous amount of stuff to see here and we've only today left. Agggh! Why am I wasting my time on the internet? Cos Bren's looking for his hair gel. Then we're off to the air and Space Museum. Yay!
Tomorrow we're going to Baltimore, the home of John Waters. I'm so excited I might die.
Then back to NY for ages and ages and ages.

Halloween
Well, it's that time of year again, my second favourite time of year. Halloweentime. Because we aren't gonna be in Toronto this year we're hosting a Halloween party tomorrow night. I know its early but we gotta do it at some stage and we'll be in the bright lights big city NYC for the real dealio so we gonna celebrate now!
I still dunno what to dress up as. All costumes are slutty! I dont wanna dress slutty. I dunno. Maybe Dr Frank n Furter again just cos I have an afro wig. I know I've dressed as him before but I do love love love him so. And don't worry I wont make Bren dress as Rocky Horror...no-one wants to see that, not even Emmet

I thought you were state side or in Canada..er Canada side? but yep it has been a long time no see & if/when you do move to Dublin we will have to meet up for sure it must be 2 years now? maybe longer, I’m cool just getting on with that crazy thing called life but enjoying myself at the same time, cant do any travelling with current medical stuff but I have seen parts of Dublin I never knew existed lol, A few of my friends are doing the job hunting thing & have been for quiet a while now its mad how much damage the recession has done but I’m staying retired until I have some stuff out of the way, I’m doing a lot of freelance photography at the moment & had over 12 pics published from Wednesdays protests so I’m fairly chuffed with that
