is that SCRATCHING on i'll fly with you? it sounds like some1 has rubbed their face over the vinyl. Catch yourself on, this isn't turntablism. U cant scratch. U have no rhythm. Your timing is bad, awful actually. Your "mix" of better off alone is laughable. U speed it up at the start, then let it play normally. And add an acapella, which is timed wrong and doesnt sync with the song. I hope to god you have given this up for ever.

If you put it that was sure it sounds shit. So does BeatBox if you say that you make random sounds with your mouth. Football sounds shit if you just say that you kick a ball up and down a grass park. it's not what you do it's the way you do it the most simple things can evolve into some kick-ass shit if you put some dedication and skill into it.
And anyway what you described was also the base for any Nu-sound music. All mainstream Dj is layering and tweaking Vox, Beat, Slorp and Orbital shit. But the main difference is during sets and sessions, Mainstream uses decks, eq. slides, various touch pads and some-times a master eq. on a PC. I prefer TT becasue you get more creative and personal with your sound (cuz you always have to throw somthing new in otherwise you'll stale or goof)
but all you have is your decks and eq. sliders maby scratch-pad for mp3 samples but that's it

dude nothin-nothin right but your music isn't exactly turntableism, TT is when you create as song coprising compleatly of scratch, sound bits and the like with only a small beat loop to glue it toghether if look up Cut Chemist in the music pages you'll see what I mean. I'm a big advocite of TT so please either change that genre thing or take up scratch I dunno if there's any good undergrounds for it in ireland but if you find yourself in australia, france, germany or the US you can check out some sweet skill. it's all TT and beat box and I recomend anyone on this page to check it out. thanks man
