- Sooth have always had desire to push and experiment with the music they love. Every song is written with a different approach due to the bands extensive musical tastes, which drives their wish for every song to sound different from the last, but still retaining something that the audience can identify as Sooth.The band formed in 2002 after the demise of other local bands that the boys were in. Since then, Sooth have ventured into the studio on 3 occasions, each time progressing in their style of writing. In October 2006, Sooth went to Chemikal Underground's recording facility, Chem19 Studios, with a completely fresh outlook on how they should record and produce their music.With the EP, Six Months On, Sooth feel that they are now showcasing their best work to date, and feel that this record is the beginning of “their sound”. Now that Sooth have started their own label and are making plans to record their debut album, they are continuing to push their writing skills to create music that, primarily, they want to hear and feel will make a mark within any trends and scenes in the world of music today.

Winning, New Song, New Shows
We've been busy
We have mixed, mastered and posted our new song "The Great Fire Of London" onto both our myspace and bebo. We have been preforming it at our shows since March, and its good to finally give people a chance to listen to it whenever they want. If you want it on your iPod just nip along to www.myspace.com/sooth and download it from there. We will be putting it onto www.SoothMusic.com this week.
We have posted every song from our latest EP "Six Months On" onto our myspace page, fact saying that I think I'll post them on bebo today too. This means you can download our full CD, send it to your friends, put it on your iPod, play it in your car...whatever. It's yours for free. All we ask is that you let as many people hear it as possible, and of course say nice things about us for giving you free music
We won a battle of the bands last night. Didn't even know it was a competition, but there you go. Its nice to be recognised. I think we're getting some recording time for winning, and a few mor gigs around the country with the company that organised it.
We have loads of new shows booked up around Scotland including Perth, Wishaw, Stirling and of course Glasgow. Tickets have just came in for our Classic Grand show. Its gonna be a belter. So if your wanting tickets for it give us a message and we'll give you credit crunch prices.

well a was drinking sailor jerrys rum with two teaspoonfuls of salt in it, where blackwood had his with black pepper! We were in pivo pivo for ages after the ben nevis pub! Bottle of champgne for the train home hahahah, hillarious mate! got some new Ts out boardwise and a new stomp pad for that new board of mine! al get the pics up the now! x
