    • How Much it Means...


      There are many things that i remember

      but
      Theres somthing that i always remember

      when i was younger

      he said something to me

      which brought me down

      and through out my life

      i have had this weight holding me down

      draging it everywhere i go

      and then one day i meet this person again..

      The conversation now has changed from one of hate..
      to one of friendship

      i wonder..

      do they remember??... that thing they said??
      can't they see it... tugging at my leg??

      yet still this thing is holding me down..
      the damage from the past
      is still there
      so you decide to show them..

      They see it and recognize it...
      realise that it was them that placed the burden..

      i think to myself
      should i have shown them??..
      maybe.. maybe the views of the past will rise again...

      but
      something amazing happens
      and just like that
      they remove the burden
      that they once place on me so long ago

      removing this burden
      They don't know how much it means

      to carry if for 8 years..
      and for it to have finally ben released...
      How much that meant to me..



      Kids do things that in turn the adults end up regretting
      but in the end
      an apology along with forgiveness

      can create a stronger bond
      then hiding it ever could...
