I think the cheapest flights are from Edinburgh to Munich whith "easyjet", they don't have a great service but they're cheap. the earlier you book the cheaper are the tickets. The chepest connection I found was Edin - Muc and back at 103Pnd. if book a month in advance it's way cheaper.
