- Currently recording their debut album, due for release in early 2010, TKO has been entertaining audiences up and down Ireland for just over 2 years now. Having played over 200 shows since their inception, their live show is second to none and have become energetic and sought-after affairs in packed-out venues across the country, they are well known for their crowd interaction, onstage antics and even Chewbacca has jammed with them for a few tunes in the past.
So, What's happening now? Well we are recording the album and working our asses off trying to make it worth the disc it will be printed on. This summer TKO embark on their "In the summertime" tour, with shows at festivals up and down the country. Things are looking good if we do say so ourselves. Its an exciting time in the TKO camp and we hope you'll be around to share it with us....

Some sad news.....
Hello everyone,
Over two years ago, I had a chance meeting with a big blonde Swedish dude called Andreas. He made a great instant impression on me. He was a drummer and we were looking for a drummer. The perfect match! He had only arrived in Dublin and was looking for a "jam". He ended up joining TKO and bringing his beautiful drum style to the sound of the band.
Over the past two years we, as a band, have had many trials and tribulations. He shared them with us and was always onboard with us. Unfortunately, our good friend Andreas will now head back to his homeland for brighter pastures ahead! All is good in the camp, we are still best of friends and will continue to work together in the future.
But for now, TKO will continue and would like to pass on our love to Andreas and hope that all works out well for him in this next chapter he begins.
Thanks to all of you for your love and support over the past while. We will be back with a bang, and it will be loud. Very soon.

DCU Student Restaurant - Weds 7th Dec
Hey all,
Hope everyone has been keeping well and safe. TKO will be entertaining the masses in DCU, Dublin this Wednesday 7th December. We will be playing the Student Retaurant at 12pm until 2.30pm or so.
We would love to see a few of ye there. Its free in and the lovely staff at the DCU student restaurant will have lovely food for everyone to enjoy!!

Inside the Studio: Part Seven Documentary
Hello All,
Hope everyone is keeping well and looking forward to some Halloween fun! We have just uploaded the latest video to our "Inside The Studio" Documentary on how the debut album is coming along. Click the link and have a gander.
We hope this is a good way to show the recording process and how things go in the studio. Maybe we might have a DVD of sorts with the album with scenes from the studio on it. Would that be a good idea?!

hey tko!!!!! Dunno if you remember me but i met you two years ago in rathangan at the lughnasa festival,i even robbed a chip off one of ya's after the show! I am currently organising and promoting gigs around the kildare area and i was wondering if you would be interested in playing a gig in newbridge at a venue called rose earleys which i am currently using to showcase local talent. I get enthusiastic crowds at the band nights there,im sure tko would go down a treat! i know you must be balls to the walls with the album,but consider it and give me a holla back if your interested. rock on tko!
