- Hey folks!
If any people out there knew Man Down well at all they'll know that it is long since finished and a (hopefully) pleasant memory, but seeing this page sitting here outdated gave us the initiative to put it straight once and for all for anybody not in the know.
It was a great time we shared when together, many ups and downs, many great shows played, the great people we met, the great times we had and the friendship and dedication we all shared towards a common goal which was to push Man Down as far as we possibly could and try to take it all in at the same time!
This page has been stagnent for far too long with details of a 'return' which realistically is never going to happen. We all genuinely really really enjoyed the time we had in Man Down and all that came with it and want to thank all of you who came to the shows and sang your hearts out, bought the CD's, had a friendly word or couch to sleep on or just were positive about the band in general!
So thanks guys!

At the moment we're working on some very promising material and fresh sounding but still with the hint of more rock than punk in there!!!
Keep us checked out over the next few months and weeks for new songs,new pictures,new merchandise and more importantly new venues!!!!

IMPORTANT NOTICE!!!
Due to a number of set-backs in the last couple months,
man down will not be giging or writing new material until october of this year. All members are now setting up base in Dublin due to studies in college and once things have returned to the norm and a new drummer has been accquired man down will be back on the road. Thanks to everyone for being so patient in the last while.
In other news:-
Man down will feature on the local I.N.F.Y CD that will be launched soon and will be avaliable through us and a whole host of others through-out wexford town.

The video for 'another anthem' is now avaliable on bebo, thanks to oisin kelly for all his hard work and dedication to the band.

Well currently we're working our new songs so keep an ear out for them!!
We also have to say goodbye to our very good friend and drummer whos been a fantastic band member for the past year or so!!I no all bands say they it was a mutual thing but this really was!!Ourselves and spud will still be slagging the fuck outta each other whenever we get the chance and will be doing a lotta drinking next year in college together!!
We're going to miss you loads buddy and we wish you the very best of luck in your future music career!
It's going to be a daunting task to replace a drummer of that high of skill and music ability but it will have to be done somehow(here's were i hope for a ray of sushine of god to throw down a good a drummer as spud,we'll just hope)
It's been a lot fun buddy!!
