- The Futures Present are a five man army of beats and lyrics from Scotland that will blow your mind! Ageing between 18-20, the group are signed to Millennium Child Entertainment who support Scottish urban music.The group have been around since mid 2006, perfecting on their delivery skills until they were getting the whole crowd screaming. Four members (Jay-Era, Umashin, Walid) are from Aberdeen city and the other two members (Lil' Kay, DT) are from the town of declaration, Arbroath. The first time the group performed together was at Dundee's Caird Hall in front of a crowd of 1200 people when they had created their own version of Touch It on the 3rd of November 2006. Since then the group released a debut mixtape entitled "The Arrival", it consisted of 15 original track with beats produced by Lil' Kay and Jay-Era and some commercial beats. Since then, the group have done many shows. The most recent was at Aberdeen's AECC.

LIL' KAY - NEXT MIXTAPE
Hey guys! It's time for something new... For the past couple of weeks, I've been writing and writing and writing... probably because Jay-Z inspired me a lot when he was up in Aberdeen! The next mixtape was supposed to be entitled "The Male Of The Species", but it is now a completely different SIMPLE concept with the name "Not My Beats". And yes, all instrumentals aren't mine, just a random collection of industry beats! INCLUDING A MILLI! I'll upload the first couple of songs in the next 24hrs to the VIDEO BOX on this page and my solo artist page at http://www.bebo.com/lilkayarbroath
Expect the project to be complete and up for free download in the next month!

Lil' Kay - MUSIC!
OK, as far as The Tale goes... wait, it isn't even out yet! But sounds like it's going to go well! It is being demanded from Perth all the way up to Aberdeen! I gave in to some of my people in Perth last week with the first set of copies I made, and now they are all gone! Jay-Era was spreading the hype in Aberdeen, He gave me a good news call at about 7pm on Friday night!
As for side projects, they are of the masses! Was in Edinburgh the other weekend with my boys Werd n Deeko, did a couple recordings down there, one is on their myspace and bebo pages, the other recording is something bigger.....
As always, working with Jay-Era, sorting a mixtape out. But the mixtape I am currently recording is the best kept secret I have ever kept! I got DT to my home studio and we've been cooking up something raw! No tracks will be leaked on the net until the finished CD is made! If you're lucky you may here a couple tracks at live shows... It's titled "This Is Hip-Hop"!
Also, The Tale is out Tuesday, but I'm already working on my next CD! Recording the first track today! That is titled "The Male Of The Species"! That she be hot out of the oven in the next month, SO WATCH OUT!1 commentaire 564 jours
