    • Gran Canaria June 2007

      Just chillin mainly, a few nice meals here and there, some tennis, some mini golf, although, par 5 holes are distinctly lacking in the mini.

      I ventured out on the Glass Bottom Ferry to Megan via Puerto Rico, which was rubbish. I mean, the trip was fine, sunny on deck, free sangria and lolipops for those inclined, and the boat, did indeed, have a glass observatory below deck....with fuck all to observe:

      I cut my losses at an un-branded plastic bag and navigated the spiral staircase back above water level.

      Up top,on deck, I reclaimed my original vantage point, port side coastal view, various hot chicks to the right. Everything was cushty, bar some mild nausea. Maybe this was the onset of the bends, I thought. I soon remembered that this was impossible, mainly due to some past extreme scuba training I had endured in the same very waters.

      This led me to the more probable diagnosis of lollipop sugar hit syndrome...disease...

      Anyway, made it to Megan, ate some very tasty fresh fish and returned to Anfi resort.
