Let's look at the concept of 'sin'.

Hypothetically speaking, God is all knowing. He knows everything that has happened, is happening and is going to happen. But to be able to predict what is going to happen, then the outcome would have to be pre-determined.

Since the outcome to everything is pre-determined, then free will can't exist, right? If it is already known what is going to happen, then you can't change the outcome. If there is no free will then how can there be such a thing as good or evil? Without free will or the concept of good and evil, then we are incapable of sin, and therefore cannot be judged by God when we die, or be sent to Heaven or Hell.

A van driver used to amuse himself by scaring the shit out of every liverpool fan he saw strutting down the road in his red and white uniform. He would swerve as if to hit them, and at the last minute, swerve back onto the road. One day as he was driving along the road, he saw a priest hitch-hiking. Not understanding where the noise came from, he glanced in his mirrors, and, seeing nothing, said to the priest, "Sorry Father, I almost hit that liverpool Supporter walking down the road there."
