IN DEMAND RELAUNCHES - FRESH for 2009!

Alex and Lucy will take the IN DEMAND helm from Monday 19th January with Lucy continuing to give you all the showbiz gossip from Hollywood and around the UK. Alex will front our new music section FRESH DEMAND and will take control of the IN DEMAND live sessions.

About Alex;
Alex James comes from Doncaster and has 6 years presenting experience, as well as a degree in English and History!?!

Alex is a real live music junkie and is a massive fan of My Chemincal Romance, Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys, Ask and Frank Turner. He's no stranger to the BIG NAME interviews IN DEMAND has; “I’ve interviewed Hollywood Actress Michelle Williams and got her phone number!!! But I was a real mess while talking to My Chemical Romance - they say you should never meet your idols”.

Alex was featured as the 'One To Watch' in a radio industry magazine and sadly admits he got the IN DEMAND job because the producer thought he was the ex-bassist of Blur!!
About Lucy;
Lucy is the first lady of IN DEMAND and has been presenting the show for 2 years!! She still doesn't know who her favourite interview is 'I generally love everyone, particularly of the male species - It has to be Mark and Gary from Take That – it really was a dream come true to meet them!!”

Lucy is our party animal and showbiz queen; 'My perfect night in is a large pizza and an equally large bottle of Rose or 2, and Lost, 24, Big Brother or Katie and Peter on TV! My perfect night out starts early, with some afternoon shopping, then hitting the bars and normally manage to get to bed as the sun's rising!'
