I was re-Reading my friends live reports about the Dir en grey shows I attended throughout Europe in June. Over the past couple of days I've really been thinking a lot about those fives show and the sheer impact certain songs had.

I remember before the show in Dresden how pissed off I was. The fans sucked, the clusterfuck at the gates acting like bitches, the weather (rain, hail, thunderstorm, torrential downpour, all within 15 minutes LOL WTF) and the tiredness. However when I got inside it didn't fucking matter any more. As soon as I heard SA BIR rumble through the speakers it didn't fucking matter. I was cold wet and tired but it was more than worth it. I'll never forget the feelings I had when Kaoru played the opening part of the first song, INCONVENIENT IDEAL advfhjhguhg. I stood like this 8D shaking and on the verge of crying. Lols don't even care. I managed to ninja roll past five rows and ended up with my hand on the rail by the time Toguro was played. Then I proceeded to annihilate myself LOL. I didn't feel any pain apart from my cheeks hurting cos I'd been smiling like a douchebag the whole way through. I only realized it whenever I had my head down during the final song expelling the last of my energy. I walked away shaking and cry because goddamnit it was amazing. Of course after I left every muscle hurt but I felt nothing cos of adrenaline.

Prague next. Tiny venue, intimate concert. The band played amazing once again and the crowd were great. Die was so wasted though LOL. Almost fell off the state, bashed his head in the mic and sat at the end of the show with girls pulling at him giggling like a maniac until Nora rescued him XD.

Warsaw. Never go there. Crowd sucked, sound sucked but the band played great once again. audience KILLER LOOP came on and I went nuts. Setlist was amazing actually.

Berlin. Oh man Berlin. No concert in my life is ever gonna top it. Ever. I headbutted Patrik, kicked some fat fuck who slammed in to me and had to be pulled off some girl before I tore her limb by fucking limb because she punched me. But despite that LOL it was the best. Kyo wore the noh mask and moved like a puppet, eerie as fuck. Very special show. I remember during Reiketsu Nariseba we all pulled our shit together during the breakdown before the insane part. Seven of us in a circle and as soon as Kyo shouted "DESTROYYYY!!!" we just fucking threw ourselves to the fucking floor, on our hands and knees, every ounce of energy escaping dgkkghjfyk. At the end, Kyo stood on his red crate and gave the truest smile I have EVER saw from ANYONE. EVER. I cried lols. Tears of fucking joy. I was shaking like a leaf once again and sore and wanting to sit on the floor and cry harder and athfjggigf. I used to never understand why people cried at concerts. I do now XD.

Man I need to do something like that again. I felt alive. I met so many cool people. THANK YOU Dir en grey.

73 days until I gaijin smash my way across Japan haha. It's gonna be awesome. Catching Dir en grey at their UROBOROS -With the proof in the name of living...- shows in Nippon Budokan, Tokyo on January 9th and 10th. These shows are highly anticipated, saw as a continuation of UROBOROS -breathing- in OSAKA-JO Hall last December. The shows are also SOLD OUT, 30,000 tickets gone in 15 minutes.

After these shows (and possibly Muse on 12th Jan in Budokan also), I'll head down to Osaka and I'll be making a point of visiting Hirakata City, home of Shinya from Dir and many of Japan's most famous musicans. Then it's off to Kyoto and the temples theres. Maybe I'll come back as a shingon buddist ;P. What a way to start 2010 and celebrate my birthday eh? I'm pumped, I'm fucking ready for this.
