The Goldmans....
Harvey and Gladys Goldman are getting ready for bed. Gladys is standing in front of her full length mirror, taking a long hard look at herself.
"You know Harvey," she comments. "I stare into this mirror and I see an ancient creature. My face is wrinkled, my arms and legs are as flabby as popped balloons. My butt looks like a sad deflated version of the Hindenburg."
She turns to face her husband and says, "Dear, please just tell me one positive thing about my body so I can feel better about myself."
Harvey studies Gladys critically for a moment then says in a soft voice,"Well there's nothing wrong with your eyesight."
Services for Harvey Goldman will be held at 10:30 am at Beth Israel Temple.

Merry christmas my friend... sorry we havent hooked up on the old skype.. timing and bulk young people wanting to use the only laptop in da house is making it pretty hard to commandere control.. so am having to catch time whenever i can... tis 1.33am christmas night, well, boxing day officially so am trying to do emails and stuff.. tricky!
We heading up to edinburgh to see my niece on 27th and will be gone a week and she informs me that their home computer has given up the ghost, so no contact there either... can't catch a break. Wish I'd brought me laptop!!
Hope you had a lovely christmas and enjoy welcoming in 2009!
