A stuntman has been injured during the course of filming Deathly Hallows. The accident occurred earlier this week at Leavesden Studios in London, England where prep work is underway for main photography on the two part Deathly Hallows films which is due to begin on February 15. The stuntman, a long time double for actor Dan Radcliffe in his role as Harry Potter, fell while testing an aerial stunt, injuring his back upon landing on the ground. Dan Radcliffe was not present, as he is still in New York completing his final days in the Broadway production of Equus.

Tom Felton and Robbie Coltrane Speak Deathly Hallows
At an Award Event RObbie Coltrane (actor of Hagrid) talks about Deathly Hallows. He mentions that he is looking forward to the flying scene when the death eaters attack. He says the motorbike in question is going to be a triumph 500 (I have no idea what that looks like).

Tom Felton (Draco malfoy) says he is looking forward to filming the fiend fire "Yer I'm really looking to see my house, you know, being in the house with Jason Isaacs and the other death eaters I work with in the film because they're all a great laugh."

Paris fashion week was great fun and it was nice to see family members and friends while I was there.

I'm currently trying to apply for uni, so reading lots and lots at home and starting to get very exited about the release of The Tale of Despereaux which is coming up in December.
ALTHOUGH...I keep getting distracted as I have started re reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in preparation for the start of filming in February and can't put it down.
Reading it for a second time has made it no more addictive.

David Yates talks about Deathly Hallows
David Yates (Harry potter director) says that filming is finished on HBP but they are adding an extra tweak. They are not going to put the whole film together until 6 weeks prior to the film actually being released.

JK Rowling has contributed to a new book honoring the Prince of Wales J.K Rowling has contributed to a new book honoring the Prince of Wales, Prince Charles for his 60th birthday. This book will benefit the Prince's Foundation for Children and the Arts charity. Today, the Guardian has an extract of the piece written by Jo, where she writes about the dramatic forest scene near the end of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Paris and London Fashion Week for Emma
Emma Watson has been off to all sorts of Fashion Shows these past couple of weeks in Paris and London including Chanel and YSL. Fashion writer Derek Blasberg was at Fashion Week and had this to say about Emma in his Style.com blog:

The sweetest person I’ve met this Paris fashion week has been Emma Watson, the 18-year-old British actress making her first trek to the Parisian collections. “I’ve been to fashion shows before, like the Chanel show that was in London in December,” she told me. “But this is the first time I’ve been to shows like this. This is my first time at fashion week, and let me tell you, it’s pretty intense.” She’s made a pretty good first run: spending a few hours actually looking at the pictures at Patrick Demarchelier’s exhibit at the Petit Palais (how novel) on Tuesday night, attending Sonia Rykiel’s anniversary fashion show and party (”That was amazing!”), and going to a handful of the big fashion shows, like Giambattista Valli (”I don’t even know where to begin”) and Chanel (”Now, that was a big deal”). But Watson’s got her sights on something beyond mere fashion: After her time in Paris, she’s planning a trip to the East Coast to look at universities.

New Half Blood PrinceTrailer out!!
There is a BRAND NEW full trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. In this trailer we see many many new scenes, including apparition with Dumbledore, Snape, Harry yelling 'fight back you coward,' Fenrir Greyback, Voldemort, the Orphanage, Draco, Ron snogging Lavender Brown, Romilda Vane, a funny scene with Harry and Hermione, the attack at the Burrow, Quidditch, Bellatrix, and most notably, dramatic footage in the Cave with Dumbledore and the ring of fire, and much more. At the end of the trailer says "this year," so it is very possible this trailer has been leaked, or released early as the site is calling this the International Teaser Trailer.
