Información: Hi, I'm a student at Newcastle University doing a 4 year degree in Folk and Traditional music (a.k.a - a 4 year sesh!) and I'm in my 2nd year. I play the Accordion, Double Bass (Traditional & Classical), Piano, and I have even been known to roar out a few songs of an evening (a few drinks are essential for this last pheonomenon!) I love playing the box, and although I'm a Fifer, I'm really a teucher at heart.

Music: Lunasa, Back of the Moon, Brolum, Martyn Bennet, Margaret Bennet, Bodega, Peatbog Fairies, Croft No.5, Lau, Shona Mooney, Blazin Fiddles, Silly Wizard, Claire Mann & Aaron Jones, Cliar, Skipinnish, Skerryvore, Findlay Napier & the Bar Room Mountaineers, Absolutely ANYTHING Teuchy or Folky.
Films: I'll watch anything, i love films that make your sides hurt from laughing, but I cant stand those crappy horror films that have no plot and just mess with your head! So anything in between, I'll give a go!
Sports: Anything outdoor, kayaking, Sailing, Mountain Biking, climbing, hiking etc. I recently discovered Adventure Tubing!!
Scared Of: Snakes - I'm not the biggest fan.
Happiest When: At a proper west coast ceilidh, with a dram in one hand, my box in the other, with some friends, having some good graic.
Places: Tiree, Plockton, Castelfidardo.... i suppose Newcastle isn't too bad either!
Idols: Phil Cunningham, Colin Dewar, Ian Lowthian is a God!
