im a 24 year old session drummer / percussionist based in glasgow, and have a large background in acting, both on stage and in film and tv spanning over 15 years.

ive got plenty of experience in live giging, radio air-play and studio recording. and have even appeared in music videos.

ive been lucky enough to have worked with some of the greatest musicians in the world, from all over the world, learning about jazz, latin, blues, rock, funk, soul amongst other styles of music.
Music
nick cave and the bad seeds, the smashing pumpkins, travis, feeder. i have a huge eclectic taste of music tho, from mainstream to jazz and classical music. i aslso like latin, funk amongst others. even ray stevens hehe!
TV
family guy and top gear but i like a lot of old programmes that i grew up with like the crystal maze (with richard o'brien, not the shit guy!), reboot, all the old cartoon shows like animaniacs, with pinky and the brain, batfink etc. but i also like stuff like dragons den and i like cooking programmes n stuffs. the mole was a programme i luved but it never really took off over here, was bigger in austrailia / usa i guess.
Scared Of
not much, tho i have a really unusual phobia - its called batophobia - i cant look up at tall buildings cos i freeze and feel sick and can collapse, but i can look down from great heights without much problem - so its not a fear of heights! its the opposite :P its a fear of being close to tall buildings/objects. (and NO! its not vertigo - apparently thats to do with blood flow/circulation round the head or shumn and balance) confuzzled?
sports
im sports driven. i love footy (man utd) and i play in goals for various work teams and for friends. i love watching football too, i pretty much watch about 95% of football broadcast on TV every year over Sky, BBC and STV. im also a huge fan of snooker, formula one rally. theyre the mains, but il generally watch other sports if theres a scottish guy involved, otherwise im not overly interested.
hopes & ambitions
well id obviously like to be rich beyond my wildest dreams, but id be perfectly happy if i were to make a living from being a drummer or an actor, either or, i dont mind which, they both mean everything to me, but im not afraid to put one aside to concentrate on the other. im focused that way. and i know how hard it is to make a living from the arts/entertainment industry these days.

    currently perfoming in a play at the citizens thatre, glasgow with the citizens theatre community company.

    It sounds like fun - a dance marathon with a cash prize, held on the end of a pier and watched by star-spotters, fanatics and the curious. However, the setting of Horace McCoy's 1935 story is the Depression-era US, where a rag-tag bunch of downtrodden souls are competing for the chance to improve their distinctly sub-prime lives. After a few hundred hours on their feet, they are barely clinging on to hope, sanity and each other.

    This is a hugely ambitious co-production uniting professional theatre-makers with members of the Citizens' Community and Young Company, as well as the charitable organisation Turning Point Scotland. Impressively, there are no passengers here: while the acting varies in quality and more projection is required from some of those with smaller roles, the physical performances are tremendous. Director Neil Packham ensures the ridiculous, surreal scenes are troubling rather than comical, and this would have been unachievable without total commitment from the cast.

    A series of affecting moments - a song, a death, a scream of despair - lead to an inevitably grim climax.

    The production's biggest assets include an American-flag-themed set by Neil Haynes, Sally Clay (a Herald Angel winner) at the piano, John MacNeil as ageing sailor Harry and Cindy Campbell as the damaged and damaging Gloria, who gives the contest everything she has.

    If accents are variable then for the most part it doesn't matter, America being a land of immigrants and all. What's a little disappointing is that the audience isn't explicitly cast as the voyeurs who flock in increasing numbers to watch the grim spectacle, like modern viewers to celebrity-torture shows. Desperately Come Dancing might not have happened yet, but it's surely only a matter of time.

      Yeah the band must be hard to deal with. I can think of a certain member whose name I shant mention who, well...let's just say he gives off the impression of wanting to get it all his way. Sure he's lovely and I maybe just seen him under a stressful night :)

      I'm workin' tonight :( 6 till 12. Tryin' to find another job but it's just not happenin'.

      I was staying at my dads flat in town and parked on the side street on broken up yellow lines where everyone parks. I parked there a few times then one morning I came out and my car was gone...
      My car was the only one that got lifted!!!!!
      I told a parking warden to 'get to' a few days before though and it was a parking warden who got it lifted :S £180, I'm appealing it though! x
