      Jews with no sence of humour re the holocaust

      Forgive the slightly sensational headline, but I'm trying to make a point about identity, and this is just one example.

      Hypothetical example - Say you're drinking one night with mates, and someone menions their admiration of Hitler's motivation. Now he could've mentioned the great White Hope, Obama, instead. But no. And low and behold there's a Jew in company. Who's to know? Anyway, rants ensue and our hero has to leave the party. Is this Jew even polish? no. German? no. Homosexual? don't think so. Jehovah Witness? no - a Jew. That's the only tie he has to the war.

      Now here's the point. Religion is the biggest load of bolix ever dreamt up by neurotic fucks in the history of humankind (in my opinion). And then we group people by it, and all of a sudden certain topics are black listed. We should talk about this kind of thing though. Debate is good.

      The simple fact is that Hitler killed people. So why don't I get upset when someone praises Hitler (apart from the fact that it's usually me - kidding, he was a cunt)? I'm people too after all. Becuase I'm not an idiot. And it was ages ago. As justified in South Park, "You can laugh at anything after 22.3 years."

      Now, a more appropriate way of grouping people is by their ideals and morals, rather by made-up beliefs. Take the chinese, for instance. Their government is a shower of complete pricks, that merely tinker around with communism - they've a massive rich-poor divide. 700 million people live in the poor country side. For instance, they displaced poor people from their homes to improve the country's infrastructure. They put little old ladies into one room concrete huts with corrugated iron roofs. When the aul ones complained and looked for their proper compensation, they sentenced the old dears to re-education through labour! Are you having a fucking laugh? 80 year olds labouring for complaining about human rights abuses.

      My point is that I would be ashamed if I was a chinaman, truely ashamed. The Chinese ambassador in Britain then said that they admit that there's problems, and that China is 100 years behind the rest of the developed world. What? A hundred years behind in terms of what exactly? I wasn't aware that the Irish locked their own people up for campaining against a corrupt government, sentenced 80 year olds to labour, abd disallowed freedom of speech. There is no excuse. Those 700 hundred million people should overthrow the government and set up a democracy. Easy.

      We need to stop bearing patriotic grudges and get over the fact that shit happened in the past. And if it means we can laugh about some of the more taboo issues, all the better. If not, we'll always have situations like Isreal, and Northern Ireland.

      Now I'm sure there's a bunch of idiots that this post will offend. So I'll probably take it down sooner rather than later. But just remember one thing -

      I like blacks.

      went to st thomas in the us virgin islands for a few days with my buddy PJ. on our way back we hitched a 40 min car ride and did it in about 40 secs in the back of a pickup with a dodgy engine and even dodgier breaks that were used on a 20 ft wide road far too excesively. i actually thought that i might die but i didnt so now its time for a beer.

      so i was saying to my friend bout what u were sayin bout kol and u2 and stuff..and she informs me that kol sed in an interviewa while back that after they toured with u2 they realised that they wanted to make more "anthemic"( dont think dats a word but u get wot i mean) rock..hence the bigger,more commercial sound..so there u go..u were right!:)
