- I've finally landed my dream job assessing 'archaeological potential' in many exciting locations such as Wrexham and Reading. It's quite demanding, so if any of you are trying to get planning consent for something, now is the time to ask Oxford Archaeology, as there's an idiot working there who can't find any archaeology anywhere.

Blatant self-promotion
I finally got the promotion I always dreamed of. I'm no longer officially an 'Archaeologist', but rather a Research Assistant. I also did my first walkover survey today, in a lovely little village called Ewelme, near Wallingford. It involves walking around in a field drawing any remains of archaeology, and looking for stuff we don't know about. Today we were looking for the site of an old manor (16th Century), and think we found it, plus some Medieval fish ponds. Excellent fun, and it was fantastic weather. Woo!0 comentarios 994 días

Say hello!
I'm not sure anyone reads this any more. If you do, say hello and I'll say hello back! I have a MySpace account, you see, which might be more interesting if any of you guys are on there. If you are too, let me know and I'll induct you into my group of close friends. If you're not, then: excellent! Vive la diffrance, like.
I'll probably keep putting pictures here because I like Beboing when I get round to it.
Hope you all had a good Christmas, I have nothing of note to say at the moment, because I'm MySpaced out. I'll come back soon, I promise.0 comentarios 1015 días

Fight for your right.. to commute!
A certain person is making waves in the local media this week, campaigning against the removal of almost half the peak time trains to Paddington from Oxford. This story got 5 out of 5 on the Oxford Mail website:

Martin,
Andrew Berry 0 respuestasLong time no speak, see OR hear. Very much enjoy your bebo site though and thought I'd put in my ten-penneth as they say in the old country although I'm not sure which country that would be.
It seems you have an enviable walk to work in the mornings - nice to enjoy some countrysid...
