Well I can hardly believe it has been 12 months.And 12 BRILLIANT months at that.But as the song goes everything comes to an end and tomorrow night I will hand over the Alternative Miss Limerick crown to a new queen.

I have had an amazing year including winning Alternative Miss Ireland,TV3 doumentary Diary Of A beauty Queen,I Love Limerick Pride,Mr.Gay Limerick,Twirleys Galway,Dublin Pride,Launch of Cork Pride at Chambers,Mr.Limerick @ the Icon and so many many more.I would like to thank you all for your support and well wishes during the year and I hope that you will support your new queen as well as you have supported me.

A few people to thank Grace for always making me flawless my Alternative Miss Ireland crew Grace,Gloria,Linda,Michelle, and Ronan (all straight friends !!!!) the staff and volunteers at Rainbow Support Services for providing succor many times throughout the year.To my family and friends for putting themselves out so many times and for always being so supportive.To Nicole Dunphy of AML and La Boutique fame again for always being so accomodating and helpful thank you very much.

To all the aspiring queens tomorrow night my one piece of advice to you all is ENJOY.!!!!!!!The Alternative Miss Limeick audience are a pleasure to perform for .So Sharon , Rodger (Billie) George ( Miriam) Heidi,Angel,Katie,Elsie and Blaithnaid break a leg and give it your all but most importantly enjoy yourselves.

Qucik mention to all the local media especially,Olivia and Catriona @ The Limerick Post ,Michelle McMahon Spin South West ,Donal @ the Leader and Adam @ Limerick Live 95 fm thank you for your kind words of encouragement and good wishes all year you people rock!!!!!

And of course thanks to all the staff of Ace Travel and especially my boss Linda for being so accomodating with time off and encouragement .It is really appreciated.

And of course no mention from me would be the same without a BIG BIG thank you fro my partner in crime Ms Madonna Lucia .To say it was a team effort THE WHOLE WAY would be an understatement .Ms ML has been my right arm and I know you all know this as well.Thank you Evan I love you very much xxxx

And dont worry this Sheila is going no where .I still have a few months left as Alternative Miss Ireland with my fingers in a few pots so watch this space.

RTE 1 Friday 27th June 2008 sees highlights of this years Senior All Ireland Scor held in Killarney being shown.

As some of you may know I represented Patrickswell,Limerick and Munster and after 30 years of competeing finally won an All Ireland Scor title for Patrickswell.

Scor is a great competition organised throughout the 32 counties by t gaa clubs and promotes our Irish culture and heritage.So on Friday night you will see Irsh Dancing,Set Dancing,Singing Solo and Groups Novelty Ats Music and my competition Story Telling.So if you fancy achange from Corrie at 7.30 on Friday make sure you tune in
