- For the last few months its mostly been Bob Dylan, before that i have been known to listen to The Beatles, Miles Davis, David Bowie, Thelonious Monk, Neil Young, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, The Doors, Brad Mehldau, Rufus Wainwright, William Shatner, Soundgarden, Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, Eels, The White Stripes, System Of A Down, Rammstein, Damien Rice, Johnny Cash, The Pixies, Therapy?, Arcade fire, Sigur Ros, Green Day, Jimmy Eat World, early Metallica, The Mars Volta, Pink floyd, Coheed And Cambria and an album of Gregorian chants amongst many, many other artists and groups.

- I enjoy the films of Kevin Smith, Akira Kurosawa, Peter Jackson(not just Lord Of The Rings!), Hayao Miyazaki, Terry Gilliam, David Lynch, the Cohen brothers and also films like Fight Club, Ghost World, High Fidelity, Oldboy, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Magnolia, Sideways, the Pixar movies, Napoleon Dynamite, Ichi The Killer, The Ice Storm, Buffalo 66, The Spanish Prisoner, Zero Effect, Zatoichi, Raging Bull(most older De Niro movies) all cheesy horror and kung fu and of course The Karate Kid parts I-III but not IV.

- Books
- Amongst my favorite authors are Spalding Gray, Hunter S Thompson, Jack Kerouac, Tony Hawks(not the skateborder!), PJ O'Rourke, Bill Bryson, Stephen Fry, Pete McCarthy, Charles Bukowski, Chuck Palahnuik, Nick Hornby, Malcom Gladwell, Terry Pratchett, JD Salinger and Philip K Dick. Also books like Naive Super by Erlend Loe and The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-time by Mark Haddon and a never ending supply of thick fantasy and sf books. I think everyone should read 1984 by George Orwell, A Brave New World by Aldous Huxley and Steppenwolf by Hermann Hesse.
