- For there is born to you this day in the city of David, a Saviour who is Christ the Lord - Luke 2:11
- Me, Myself, and I
- ♥ "All of my life, in every season You are still God, I have a reason to sing, I have a reason to worship you." ♥
Firstly, I'm a born-again Christian trying my best to live for Jesus each day. Because Jesus has saved me I have a reason to live, I'm contented with life and I have a hope after death, nothing but God can ever fulfill you. Jesus said "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest."
I have an amazing, handsome boyfriend Walter who God has blessed me with & I am so fortunate & blessed to have him. I also have a wonderful family & great friends who I love!
♥ Getting married to Walter on 27/03/10, can't wait! =D
Here's a lovely piece from the Footprints poem written about God:
"My precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I Carried You." - Mary Stevenson

- ~♥~ What I love! ~♥~
- My amazing God, my lovely boyfriend Walter, my family, Christian music, the beach, hoildays, Christmas, summer & winter, lie-ins hehe, outreach with a group from church, shopping, art, painting, watching re-runs of Hannah Montana! Clothes, shoes, buying others gifts & watching their reaction, romance, kindness, patience, chick flicks, hot weather, snow, 40's & 50's music & style & friends who don't talk about one another behind each other's back (I can tell you that they DO exist but they are soo rare!)! † <>< ♥
- ♥ Walter ♥
- There really isn't enough space here to describe Walter or how much I love him. Not only is he the love of my life but he is my best friend and my better half who I couldn't live without. He is the most handsome, thoughtful, amazing, caring and sweetest guy I have ever known, not to mention funny & loyal too! He is always there for me & is patient and understands me. He is just incredible and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him. Everyday I'm thankful because God has blessed me more than I can even imagine and I'm forever thankful to Him for giving me such an amazing guy. ♥
- ~♥~ Christian! ~♥~
- "Christ died for our sins." 1 Corinthians 15:3. Being a christian isn't about religious deeds or rituals or trying to be "good". To be saved all you need to to is believe that Jesus is our only hope of salvation and only He can forgive us of our sins. You must ask Him to forgive you and daily follow Him as your Saviour and King. † <>< ♥
- ~†~ Jesus ~†~
- John 3:16 analysed (I saw this somewhere!): "For God [the greatest being] so loved [the greatest emotion] the world [the greatest company] that He gave [the greatest act] His only Son [the greatest sacrifice] that anyone [the greatest invitation] who believes in Him [the greatest simplicity] will not die [the greatest promise], but have eternal life [the greatest gift]." That's all it takes to be saved, trusting Christ as your Saviour, by asking Him into your heart! No religious rituals, just a relationship with God. It is NOT good deeds that gets a person to Heaven, God even says this Himself! *There is no greater cost, there's no greater reward than to know God and to be known as His.*† <>< ♥
- ~†~ I love this! ~†~
- This is from I Can Only Imagine by MercyMe: "Surrounded by Your glory, what will my heart feel? Will I dance for You Jesus? Or in awe of You be still? Will I stand in Your presence? Or to my knees will I fall? Will I sing Hallelujah? Will I be able to speak at all? I can only imagine!" <><

A poem about Christmas (I borrowed this from Walter's page hehe)
In todays day and time,
it's easy to lose sight,
of the true meaning of Christmas
and one special night.
When we go shopping,
We say "How much will it cost?"
Then the true meaning of Christmas,
Somehow becomes lost.
Amidst the tinsel, glitter
And ribbons of gold,
We forget about the child,
born on a night so cold.
The children look for Santa
In his big, red sleigh
Never thinking of the baby
Whose bed was made of hay.
In reality when we look into the night sky,
We don't see a sleigh
But a star, burning bright and high.
A faithful reminder,
Of that night so long ago,
And of the child we call Jesus,
Whose love, the world would know.0 Comments 333 days

Footprints in the Sand by Mary Stevenson
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was
walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the
sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he
noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one
belonging to him, and the other to the Lord. When
the last scene of his life flashed before him, he
looked back at the footprints in the sand. He
noticed that many times along the path of his life
there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed
that it happened at the very lowest and saddest
times in his life. This really bothered him and he
questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, You said that
once I decided to follow you, You'd walk with me all
the way. But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life, there is only one set
of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed
you most you would leave me." The Lord replied,
"My son, My precious child, I love you and I would
never leave you. During your times of trial and
suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it
was then that I Carried You."0 Comments 684 days

Christmas
It was a normal quiet night as always. The shepherdswere keeping a watch on their flocks of sheep and relaxing in the peacefulness and stillness of the night.
But suddenly, a bright light shone and lit up the entire sky! An angel had appeared! Imagine the shock and fear they must've felt?
The angel brought them the most amazing news they would ever hear.
"A Saviour has been born to you, He is the Messiah, the Lord."
Imagine their excitment!
After hundreds of years, God's promise came true. After hearing hundreds of messages about a Saviour who would rescue the world, about the suffering He would endure on their behalf and about the amazing gift of eternal life He would give them, hope was finally here.
Those of us who have accepted Jesus as our only Saviour know that He is the main reason we celebrate Christmas. I mean, its such good fun when we all celebrate spending time with family and having fun, but when it all comes down, Christmas wouldn't be christmas without celebrating and remembering Jesus. It would just be some fun random festival that people choose as a time to see relatives and buy gifts, but they wouldn't really know the reason. And it wouldn't bring fulfillment. Only Jesus can do that. And He is the reason for Christmas.
I love all the late night shopping, snow, decorating the christmas tree, spending time with family, giving and receving gifts, the excitment, it's wonderful!
If you know me well you will know I love christmas; most people have probably realised that within 10 minutes of meeting me! I love everything about it so I'm not going to criticise all the fun things that happen at christmas because it is my favourite time of year!
But what I am going to talk about is how to me, as fun and wonderful as it all is, christmas and any gifts just don't compare to the best gift of all, Jesus.
Unfortunately, the world tries to push Jesus out of what was originally meant to a celebration about Him and His birth. As fun as they are, they try desparately to take Jesus out of it more and more so that the real meaning is forgotten by most people.
But let me ask you, is any present on your wish list this year really more important than something so valuable as your life? What about your soul? That's even more important.
Anyone will tell you that when they fall ill they realise that having good health is the most important thing. I mean, what's the point in being ill but having all the money in the world? You can't enjoy anything because your health really is more important. So how much more important is your life and your eternal life?
Really when you think about it, without having a hope of eternal life and having your stained past forgiven, is there anything more important? What could be more valuable and precious than knowing Jesus who promises to give you life forever after you die. He will never fail you, while others let you down, He's faithful.
What's valuable to you? Your clothes, money, car, house? They are valuable things but it doesn't matter what they are or how much they're worth, anything under any christmas tree in the whole world pales in comparison to Jesus.
I'm being 100% honest, I know He is real and His promises are real and let me tell you, once you realise that only He can fill the void in your heart and your life, nothing else can ever satisfy you. So many people are constantly searching for something that might make their life a bit better. More money, going out getting drunk every weekend thinking this is all there is to life, more excitment, new cars, new houses, they think "It'll make me happy." But do they really make you more happy? These things will never satisfy and I'm sure many people know inside that this is true and that anything they go in search of never seems to satisfy them.
It's as simple as this - we were made to know and enjoy God. It makes sense doesn't it? If we were made to enjoy God, then we weren't made to do things H0 Comments 707 days
