Mountains
Can’t remember who or when but I remember someone saying earlier this year that Scotland only had 3 or 4 of the UK highest mountains… I remember thinking that was well wrong and just out of interest had a look this evening! Scotland has an incredible 56 peaks that are higher than Snowdonia in Wales! More than that it has 174 peaks higher than England’s highest! Speed record on rollerskis…..
Well check out the video above and it shows them on downhill rollerskis with big handbagger bindings doing 58 mph. Some where else on the site http://www.streetski.com/lucht.htm it seems to say that there is a record for downhill rollerskiing at 63mph. Now again “back in the day” I was unofficially clocked by a car driving behind me! on the lift road at 56mph on cross country rollerskis with no areo helmet, etc. Maybe I was just a young nutter, but it does make you wonder!

hey AL can i use you as a refference for a grant application form?
it is a grant called the Burnie trust. though i would aplie to see if i could get some money for skiing. it asks for two refferences that are coaches or to do with the sport.
hope all is going well and have fun in poland.
