Virus; Feb 12th, 2012. RESULTS.
New Empire Wrestling; Virus.
*As the excited crowd in London settles into their seats the various colored lights cunt out, causing darkness to be a prominent feature amongst everything inside the building. Whilst the crowd murmur with anticipation, the titantron flickers to life, and a vignette begins to play, chronicling the feuds and rivalries leading into tonight’s historic event. We visualize streams of snow drifting across the city front, numerous wrestlers coming into and out of focus along with several events which have taken place over the past few months. The screen fades away momentarily, fading back in to show a picture of Pretentious Villain and Dwayne Cray staring down each other, a worn down cavern being used as a background for where these two men stand. The footage reaches its prominent crescendo as the clips quicken in speed, showing everything in a fast blur until it stops. The final clip is of a hole with snow and ice surrounding it, but the view is of the camera being inside this hole looking upwards. A shovel then comes into focus holding snow, and then the person holding it too is shown, Walker casting a demented smile until he pours the ice and snow onto the camera, covering it all and causing darkness to be seen.*
STRAPPED-
Despite being submerged with fear, Morenos sprang to life early with a quick succession of dropkicks; each one finding their intended mark and backing Messiah up into the corner. Morenos followed up with a running kick to the chin which sent Messiah sailing over the ropes. Basillio headed to the top rope and leaped through the air to take down 'The Prophet of Death' with a clothesline. The referee begins the count as both men find their feet on the outside. Morenos is first back up. Using the strap to his advantage, he began whipping away at the flesh of Messiah, each one leaving its mark. He then wrapped the strap around the throat of Messiah and began to choke the life out of him. Morenos was evidently happy with his work up till this point as he breaks the referees count; rolling in then back out of the ring.
Coming back out, Morenos takes Messiah by the head but Messiah began to battle back with rights and lefts before forcefully throwing him into the steel ring post. Messiah threw Morenos back into the ring where he began to use the strap to his advantage. Wrapping the strap around his opponents neck, Messiah pulled Morenos to his feet before throwing him across the ring with the strap, causing severe damage to his throat area. Once wasn’t enough for the monster as he followed it up by throwing him three more times, each one driving more air of of Morenos body before throwing him one more time, this time over the top rope where he proceeded to hang him right in front of small children in the front row.
Morenos face began to turn a shade of purple as he struggled to inhale any oxygen. Reluctantly Messiah pulled on the strap hard to bring him back into the ring before wrestling him down into the canvas. Messiah trapped the arm of Morenos before using the strap to tug back on the head and neck area for the 'Hades Grip'. Morenos fades and the referee has not other choice but to call it. Messiah releases the hold and removes the strap as his theme music plays. He stands over his fallen adversary, possibly severely injured with a cold and callous stare as the screen fades to black.
Winner: Messiah
TAG TEAM CONFLICT-
The senior official signaled for the bell and the match began in tremendous fashion with Rebel taking flight with a dropkick, catching Chris Walker on the point of the jaw. Walker was sent sailing through the ropes where he'd hoped to regain his composure, but that wasn't allowed to happen. Rebel threw himself over the top rope with an unimaginable dive; taking Walker down. This then sparked something within Young who climbed the ropes.
