Melinda Halliwell has the normal powers of a witch and the added power of orbing from her father's whitelighter side. Her main power is her empathic ability that is very well developed she can channel emotions to other people she can also control when her power of empathy works choosing when to turn it on and off. She also has the ability to channel others powers and use them for herself.
Melinda has two main passions in her life, they are singing and writing, Melinda is the only Halliwell who has almost cut magic out of her life. She spends most of her time focusing on her high school life and her three best friends. Like any normal teenage girl she focuses on school, her friends and just having fun.

- Melinda was born due to a random night of passion when Leo came to visit Wyatt at Christmas. At the age of 6, Melinda was involved in an incident in school where she told her 'friend' about her powers and rumors about Melinda being crazy were spread around the school. After coming home upset for weeks Melinda begged her Mother to take away her powers, saying she just wanted to be normal. This caused a visit from Leo after Piper called him to tell him what was happening. Melinda did not see her 'father' but it was the first and only time she heard his voice. Her powers were then stripped by her Aunt and mother. When Melinda was 10 her mother was killed, she and Chris were found sitting with their dead mother when there Aunt Phoebe came to visit. She and her two brother's were then raised by their aunt and Grandpa, but on Chris's 16th Birthday they found out that Wyatt was evil. They did not have contact with Wyatt for a year, until he came to ask Melinda to join him. After a long discussion a deal was made, Wyatt was going to give her the chance to be normal. No demon attacks, no magic until she had graduated from high school. When she told her brother and Aunt about the deal, her Aunt told her that her powers had never been stripped but simply bound and if they had any chance of saving Wyatt she would need them. Agreeing Melinda took her powers back and had a lot of adjusting and catching up to do, in her spare time all she did was study magic with her aunt and brother in preparation for taking on their older brother. The day of Melinda's graduation came and Wyatt attacked, magic was exposed to the world. Wyatt came to Melinda telling her she had to make her choice, but she was focused on trying to save the life of her aunt. Telling Wyatt she wouldn't choose until he saved their aunt, Wyatt refused to help and made Melinda's decision for her. After the death of their aunt, Chris and Melinda went into hiding and created the resistance, swearing that if they couldn't change their brother back, they would kill him.

Just in case you're interested
So normally I have a rules blog, but rules are bent and broken and I wanted to note down a few things in case people are interested.
The Main thing right now, is that I am in university. I am living away from home and I am in halls, meaning shared accommodation. I am living the student life of socialising a lot and spending most of my time working on essays etc.
Baring this in mind I may not always reply to people quickly or in order. There are some people on here that I have known since I started Melinda and I know their personal lives and time restrictions etc so at times these people will take priority.
I will try and write when I will not be online like when essays are due etc to give you all warning.
Another thing right now is my advertisement on roleplay for sale mentioning 2nd Generation character. I accept that some people may not want to follow canon but I won't accept non-canon brothers/sisters or cousins.
Piper and Leo have three children - Wyatt, Chris and Melinda
Phoebe and Coop also have three children - Pj and two other girls (the middle is called Parker in the comics)
Paige and Henry also have three - The twins and their adopted son Henry Jr.
I will only accept these characters as friends as I do not want a million cousins/brothers or sisters.
Don't get me wrong I love non-canon characters and have had a few in the past, but the amount of people who continue to make hundreds of Halliwell children are kind of annoying...

Storyline- He was the English teacher at Melinda's school. He noticed that Melinda had a special talent for English and entered her into writing competitions. The two started falling for each other the more time they spent together and eventually got together. After a while Nathan started to look for another job and ended up getting one at magic school. When he bumps into Melinda, who was visiting her Father the two argue and break up. The rest of the story will be discussed.

The lack of Melinda’s obvious emotions were beginning to irk Piper, she knew that without a doubt that both Chris and Melinda were scared of Wyatt and what he could do; but that’s why she was sent back in the first place, to deal with her eldest for the good of all mankind. Yet there was still something about Melinda and unspoken motives that still had Piper on edge, what could they possibly be? She’d summoned her after all, so if it wasn’t to help restore everything back to its natural state – evil back to good – then what the hell was it then? Sighing wearily, Piper ran her fingers through her loosely curled tendrils as she crossed over to where Melinda stood and sought for her hand; man she was exhausted, being in corporeal form was a lot more tiring then Grams made it out to be.

“Well kiddo, I’m ready when you are!” Piper quipped, glancing down at Melinda and flashed her a warm smile, in attempt to hide how tired she was growing; it wasn’t like they could exactly put confronting Chris and Wyatt off any longer, otherwise it was just going to get worse than it already was – so much worse. Noting that Melinda hadn’t orbed them out yet, Piper hid her slight disappointment by squeezing her daughter’s hand reassuringly and offered her a ghost of a smile, “What’s wrong sweetie?” She asked, the smile that graced her lips seconds ago, quickly changing into that of a frown when seeing the look upon Melinda’s face; wow, she definitely wasn’t a happy camper.

But what could possibly be wrong now? They were going to see Chris, wasn’t that what she ultimately wanted? Could there be a reason as to why she was stalling? Or was it just Piper’s overactive imagination coming out to play once again?
