- My theory goes that nothing with a violin in it can ever be bad. Even the cheesiest of dance tracks could perhaps be tolerable to my ears if there was a violin solo in there somewhere. This is due to somewhat of a bias on my part, as I've played the violin for about 10 years now. I LOVE playing in orchestras.
As well as this though, I love my rock. Favourites are amongst the likes of Alter Bridge (don't worry, must other people haven't heard of them either), Bon Jovi, Guns 'n' Roses, Coheed and Cambria, Led Zeppelin, Something Corporate, Metallica, Stone Sour, Evanescence, Tenascious D, Muse and lots lots more. On a completely different end of the scale, I also love film soundtracks, especially Pirates of the Caribbean (lots of violins, you see) and Amelie. I also grew up in a house full of folk music. Luke and I want to create a new genre, mashing together rock, classical and folk... it's called progressive symphonic classical folk rock. It's gonna be the next big thing. - Films
- I LOVE films. Favourites are Amelie and Chocolat. Lots of the films I like are based on novels or authors actually; how very English studenty of me. Eg. the Baz Luhrman Romeo and Juliet one, Finding Neverland, Shakespeare in love, Becoming Jane, Vanity Fair, Jane Austen adaptations. I also like the Pirates of the Caribbean films, Catch Me if You Can, The Pianist, Fight Club and Marie Antoinette. I'll give anything a go though.
- Sports
- I am the most amazingly bad tennis player in the universe. Fact. In general, I am rubbish at every sport known to man. However, I do quite like swimming, and since I have started to go to the gym for d of E, I have decided to one day try and do a marathon. Jeez that will be a laugh for everyone watching.
- Books
- Don't be silly; I'm an English student; I don't read!
- Likes
- Newcastle, jaffa cakes, the Carling Academy, MUSIC, diet coke (I am an addict), being in an orchestra and actually knowing what I am supposed to be playing, Jack Daniel's, New York, the amazing milkshake shop, playing on the swings, sailing on a tall ship beneath the stars, Captain Jack Sparrow, chocolate. Oh, and that moment between being asleep and waking up, when you're still dreaming and you're all comfy and warm. That's nice.
- Dislikes
- Wasps, being on the number one bus, Volleyball, Rah-ish attitudes, Christmas shopping, January sales, and many other shopping-related things (I am tragically shop-phobic), the burning smells my toaster makes even though the toast is not burnt, jaffa cake shortages in the corner shop, going back to Spalding, being on a train to Hull when I am supposed to be on one to Newcastle.

Good stuff, the rain and the queueing is a bit of a bitch lol, but at least the band ROCKED! Hols are good, got the job at the museum so im pretty much working full time and also doing summer skools for the uni which = money; woop woop!
I hear from my namesake that u guys are moving down to the toon soon, should be gd, is that going to be in the toon for the summer?
As far as the act goes, its really amazing u guys should come along there's comedy, lion taming, chris does some really gd magic tricks, I think we're going all the way to Hollywood lol
