Chatsworth Rally Show Weekend... Sunday!
Jim picked me up at bout 7.00ish, we went to get Chell from Jims nans (There were problems with Chell's car yesterday lol).
As soon as we entered Chatsworth we saw the Aston Martin Rally GT; Chell loves that car too much lol. But to be honest it is a GORGEOUS car.
The stage was extended to a long straight towards the house, we did walk down to the end but we thought it would be better where we usually stand.
A lot of it was the same as yesterday, but was still good. We did a lot of walking around looking for more Autographs and just generally looking. My feet are killing! But i did get Paul Bird's signature which i was happy about.
I managed to blag us a look round an Audi Quattro engine (your welcome lads). Very nice engine (see pics).
Saw the Stobart British Superbike Team, the bikes were rite nice.
We watched a display by the Derbyshire Fire Department which was cool. I wanted to be the 'Victim' in the car but never mind.
We gave into the temptation of the food at the show, expensive but still nice lol.
Half way through the day they decided to fill the water splash in. A Porsche crashed and we missed it!
But we did see another unlucky Porsche loose its rear bumper twice at the same place lol, one of the times the bumper hit one of the cameramen in the leg lol.
We managed to get a few frebies and im very happy that we finally got a VK lanyard and blow up sign thing.
This weekend has knackered me out! Well... time to rest my feet lol

Chatsworth Rally Show Weekend... Saturday!
Left for Chatsworth at about 6.30am(ish) with Jim and Chell, got there for about 7.30 (bit early but never mind... got a good enough parking space - off roading but oh well lol).
The stage sessions were good. Quite a few of the older rally cars looked rite nice, but many of them didnt want to leave the start line lol. And the 'Fake Metro' didnt even make it all the way around the track. There were a few Quattro's, Porche's, Impreza's and others. It was only a few ransom laps.
Some of the demonstrations and events were cool. The events were times and a lot more competitive and the demonstations were really good. Russ Swift and his 'Precision Driving' was one of the best demonstrations.
£4.00 for a burger was outragous! It wasnt worth a 'Gourmet Burger' (or Bourmet Gurger as we called it). So we decided to make our way to the local CO-OP to buy beef and onion pasties, sausage rolls, lots of pepsi, pringles and ginger bread men for the day .
We decided to go on an autograph hunt. We started to look for Russ Swift. We were stood by his car and he wasnt around for ages, then all of a sudden i saw him and shouted "Russ!" hoping that it was him lol. Luckily it was. We also got some signatured from some Mini dudes, from Guy Wilks and from Steve Perez. was a laugh getting them.
The RAF Red Arrows were late! we got told that they would fly over at a certain time... and they didnt. So me Jim and Chell looked like prats in the middle of a field looking at the sky for ages, never mind lol.
All the cars looked so amazing, Chell obviously kept going back to the Minis and wanted to chase after some Vodka Kick girls lol.
Other than the rain every now and then and my feet killing from walking all day its been an amazing day. Cant wait till tomorrow!
