- Me, Myself, and I
- Name:Manuela "Manny" Lighter
Bio: Raised since birth in a poor Catholic orphanage in Mexico, Manny was on her way down a dark path when she attempted to pickpocket James "DolphinRiver" Lighter, a hippie defining the bad 70's stereotypes who was on his way to a drumcircle with his family. Detecting the theft of his wallet before it was completed, James found himself face-to-face with the surly adolescent and felt a tug on his bleeding heartstrings. Long story short, instead of calling for the police, he ended up adopting Manuela, adding a female to his large brood of Boston-based sons.
Distrustful by nature and rebellious, Manny ultimately didn't fit in with her new family. Her growing anger management problem couldn't be altered with herbal teas and chakra alignments, no matter how hard they tried nor how much love they poured her way. Guilt weighed down the spirited girl at the grief she caused.
- So at the age of sixteen, Manuela ran away. Living on the streets and refusing to sell her body, she turned to drug dealing as a way of supporting herself. Her time on the streets coupled with a fighting nature turned the quick-tempered Latina into a force to be reckoned with. She's dark, quick-tempered, and won't hesitate to kick your ass. Though down for anything illegal, Manny does have a heart - it's just buried very, VERY deep. Though her passions are a bit closer to the surface, they run just as deep. Her mouth often gets her into trouble, but her belief that you don't hit like a man without expecting to be hit back like one means she won't hesitate to back up her words with her fists.
- (OOC Note: The profile sucks a bit, but I'm coming out of retirement. I do have over 15 years of experience and know this character and her backstory inside and out. You won't be disappointed.)
