Scotland's coach, Alex McLeish, claims for a punishment by UEFA against the spanish Juan Jiminez, assistant referee who signaled an unexistant foul during stoppage time, in the match against Italy. This foul would end up guaranteeing the victory goal for Italy and throwing the scottish away from Euro-2008.

"It was a horrible, unbelievable, terrible decision. I have no doubt about it. UEFA will have to ask him why he judged it that way and make him see that it was a terrible decision", said a tired McLeish.

"If that would have been a player, he would probably not play the next match. That referee does not deserve to be part in such important matches", he fired away.

My comment on this:
C'mon Alex.. Don't be such a bad loser! Everyone in your country was proud of the way your team fought, but it wasn't that assistant ref's decision that changed the whole match! The other assistant ref had two wrong decisions two and you didn't say a word about it. Why was that? Unconvenient, eh? I understand.. I don't like it when I lose and I blame it on the wrong people all the time. Just to ask you to be reasonable and leave the guy alone and to say: Well done Scotland.. I don't believe Portugal would have done just as well as you guys did in such a hard group. See you in 2010's world cup.

Why is it so much harder to use words when their meaning is stronger? When we actually mean them? I, personally, don't think I should use words when they don't mean all that much. I don't do it. I don't feel the need to be nice. The world isn't nice, life is unfair.. Why should I be either of them or even both? You tell me I'm a nice person and I call you a liar. Plain and simple. I despise all those "you're one of the best persons I have ever met" I heard in the past and all those "I like you the way you are.. don't you ever change" mixed with the "why is he so stubborn"'s and things like that behind my back.. I do not, I repeat: I do NOT think hypocrisy is all that bad. It makes people feel better, sometimes. It's good for some people's ego. Most people use it to be nice, not to look bad. Don't do it with me. I don't care about how bad you look or how nice you are. I don't give two hoops about "niceness". If I did, I would go to your profile and send you a comment saying you were "so cool" and "one of the best friends one could have" or even "you mean so much to me". Most people don't (mean much to me). Most people are not good friends (even though many around them seem to think they are) and being "cool" is not that much of a quality. To me, it just shows lack of humbleness and lack of respect for those who don't feel so good about opening up to "that guy they met last week at the bar" or "the lad who's working on that project we're doing". "Cool" people cannot understand they hurt a lot more people than those who look up to them. Mostly because those who are hurt don't have the guts to stand up to them and say what they really think or they just don't bother trying to be so outgoing as the "cool guy".
I stand for my idea on this particular issue: being cool, outgoing, expansive is NOT relevant to show how much of an interesting person you are. It is NOT a major issue for me that people don't feel confident enough to stand out and show themselves. At least they have a bigger quality than those who are "cool" and those who try to be "cool", even though they're not liked by many.

If you are one of those who sit back and let the "cool clowns" do all the acting I need to ask you: why don't you stand up for what you think? Why do you give a damn about what people think of you? Ignore the clowns and be yourself in freedom. I don't care what people think if I don't always welcome new people with a smile. I turn my back on them if I don't think they're worth it. I don't give them chances. That's who I am. You think that's bad, I feel sorry for you. Don't give me the "everyone loves me, why don't you" crap. If everyone loves you, I'm probably gonna hate you. Not because I want everyone to love me but because YOU want everyone to love you and that's just sad..

I hate crowd pleasers and attention seekers. Everyone who seeks attention at any price. Even puting up pictures on internet showing more than they should, more than what's decent. "Where are those good old fashioned values on which we used to rely?" That's what I have to ask. Why do you go and say to everyone "I loved your profile, you're so pretty" expecting something in exchange? I'm sick of you, that's what I am. That's not honesty, it never is. You just want people to say "so are you" or "yes, you are handsome". Do you even imagine what's on their mind when they write this? Do you really feel good for forcing people to say this to you? If you do, I'm ashamed of being classified in the same species you are. You are "cool", "handsome" and "nice", but you're also weak, dependant on others and disgusting. That's what I have to say.

Going back to the begining: people seem to feel a lot more confident when their words don't mean all that much. Why is that so? I don't know. Possibly because when things are serious they don't want to say what they don't mean. I won't say it hurts me anymore because now I've come to understand what people might feel for me, even if they do
