Thursday 10th Of September is World Suicide Awareness Day.
To mark this event, community groups from across Belfast are participating in an “Walk of Life” to raise awareness of the issue. Groups from across the city are leaving their perspective headquarters to march to City Hall for 6am, to mark this as a Belfast wide event. The event is scheduled at this early time to symbolise travelling through darkness and into light as an expression of hope for those bereaved through suicide.
We would like to march from our building Memorial House waring Street at 5.00am

SOCIAL DROP-IN YOUNG WOMENS GROUP THURSDAY NITES Get down to GLYNI - CALLING all lesbian & bisexual women 16-25 GLYNI Young Women is a NEW group for all young lesbian & bisexual women 16-25. The group can offer much support for those of all levels of 'coming out'. We kick things off on Thursday 30th April at 6.30pm til 8.30pm. The group provides a safe & friendly venue where you can meet other young women and the opportunity to get involved in activities, try new things or just chill out. Our staff are also able to offer one-to-one information, advice & support around issues affecting YOU & they recognise that your sexuality is just one part of who you are. You don't have to come along every week, or stay for the whole of each session if you don't want to, but we hope you will. Sports, Events, Fundraising, Parade Activities, etc....
