Lady Gaga’s work will be formally recognized by the New York Council of Fashion Designers of America. She will receive the CFDA’s coveted Fashion Icon Award at the CFDA Fashion Awards on June 6th.

The Recording Industry Association of America has recognized Lady Gaga as the highest-certified artist in the digital sales history. Her multi-platinum hits “Just Dance,” “Poker Face,” “Bad Romance,” “Paparazzi,” and “LoveGame” have sold 20 million downloads in the U.S. to date. This number doesn’t include sales of Gaga’s other multi-million sellers.

Lady Gaga’s latest smash “Born This Way” extends its Billboard Hot 100 dominance to five weeks, with 176,000 digital copies sold and more than 105 million audience impressions. The track is the longest-running number one on the chart since Eminem’s “Love The Way You Lie,” which occupied the top spot for seven weeks last year

Lady GaGa is planning to release a blood and semen-scented perfume, reports suggest.

The singer, who was rumoured to have signed a deal with fragrance company Coty Inc. last year, is said to be keen to release a scent that smells of bodily fluids.

Fashionista reports that the 'Telephone' star has requested that the perfume "smell of blood and semen", following in the footsteps of Rad Hourani, who recently listed semen as the inspiration behind one of his six new scents.

GaGa's rumoured fragrance is said to be slated for release in 2012.

Choreographer Laurieann Gibson has confirmed Lady Gaga’s performance at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards. The show will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 13th (Gaga’s brand new single will be released on the same day).

Laurieann has also revealed via Twitter that she will be choreographing all of the videos from Lady Gaga’s upcoming album Born This Way, including the title track, which is going to be “soulful and epic.”
