5 things most people dont know about me
my wife posted these on her blog recently, so i figure, heck... all her friends know... cant let her friends know me better than my own...
Also, i hope u folks might follow suit and leave similar rare gems of embarrassment or stupidity that you may have hidden in the closet til now...
OK...here goes...
1. As a child I was caught doing a poo in public, by a family taking an afternoon stroll in the Whangarei city gardens.
2. I use to think that sanitary pads were disposable shoulder pads for womens dresses. One day I asked mum why she needed disposable shoulder pads, and was suprised to learn they had quite a different purpose.
3. On a recent trip to the dentist I discovered that you are meant to brush the backs of your teeth as well as the front.
4. One time I volunteered to be a study model for an acupuncturist, but didnt investigate what it involved... which turned out to be nakedness and finger probing in 'uncomfortable' places.
5. One time when i was about 11 my dad was spraying some beehives with smoke (which i found out later agitated them). I decided I wanted to impress him so I rode my pushbike through the midst of them.. my macho attempt turned to panic and frantic peddling and steering as i was stung repeatedly in the neck and arms. my stunt culminated when i crashed into a fence and the finale followed minutes later when I found myself on the way to the hospital with a swollen neck and troubled breathing.

Loved the 5 things people don't know about you list. Should be reworded - 5 things I now wish I didn't know about you. Your opening schpiel blog gave me a mind melting idea. Why not have gravity work for you and put four or five extra bricks under the foot end of your the bed. Could help the little fellas get to where they need to be...
