Beaver Bulletin #83: Party-Beav
Oh hiiii, it's you!
Listen, I can't chat for long. It's the Dam-Builder and Mud-Thwacker's festive winter party tonight, and I haven't decided what to wear. I'm thinking basic fur, with perhaps a little beeswax gel, and no shoes. What do you reckon?
I know, I know, everyone else is going to be wearing fur, but I don't want to look like an idiot, do I? I want to be comfortable. Once the Mud-Thwackers start getting into the beaver hummous (mud and sand, basically), you need a pretty robust party outfit, or a shield. And I know I won't need to dry-clean my fur afterwards.
Everyone else in Team Slink is doing much the same, so there's not much room to talk. Slink Vicki and Slink Aiss and Slink Anna are deep in conversation about clothes and makeup and hair and where to get changed, and Slinks Trev, Grant and Frase are...well they're just not. BOYS, eh?
