- Greetings! Welcome to my battle ship.
I have been playing various different instruments since i was a wee one and when I turned 14 I taught myself guitar. It is only really now that I have gained the confindence to play infront of others, so hopefully I can build on that! Even if people think the stuff itself isn't great, its still a great thing to be able to play with people. So there you go! Only one song up, just recorded on mini disc, enjoy
Heres a song! Http

Our gig in Auxerre
So last Wednesday was my first gig. And it was in France! In a town called Auxerre that has nice pizza! Its just under 2 hours outside of Paris and its a very typical french town!
The gig took place in the I.U.T University in a massive hall that supplied glasses of beer for €1.50, nice!
8 acts played on the night, including french and Irish artists, bands and solo acts. It kicked off around 8 and went on till about 2. I was fifth on the bill and this was my set:
All the rainbows
End of the world news
I remember
Bloodless
and Coconut skins, which I dedicated to John's dreadlocks
There was a good crowd and I got a great response, it was one of the best new experiences I've had in a while, and I have Patreeeeeck from GMIT to thank for that. A beret wearing beauty!
The other Irish Acts on the night played a damn good show and I was proud to share this event with them.
The trip itself was pretty hillarious. Especially when we were kidnapped by French boyracer type hooligans and offered lifts by drunken old french men! Sayings from the trip include "GET IN!!!", blankity blank, or a hole in the ground?", 7,654 your mother jokes, and numerous more i cannot think of right now! It was such a laugh and i met some great people. If only we could do this every week!1 Comment 100 weeks
