- Me, Myself, and I
- When i started writing this stuff it seemed mere ramblings to me...etched in corners of old copybooks gathering dust. But in recent times i shared them with close friends and they inturn built confidence in me to air them. What these poems mean to me is I get to express a lot of emotion – something that I can’t do during my normal course of the day anyway. It will probably surprise a lot of you that I’ve spent time writing like this but it comes easily to me and that in itself is a good reason to do it.
For me, it’s my way of saying I love you or I miss you or simply that I care. Or maybe even just showing that I’m human and like everybody else I get lonely sometimes.
Sometimes it’s impossible to say those things to the ones that need to hear them but at least for me I’ve found a positive outlet.
Now that’s the end of the oblique synopsis, I’ll let you sit back and have a look at my work. Feel free to send any comments or feedback to me

What's this about?
I'm gonna make a point of this, because it's about time i said something...90% of the stuff i write is about someone else's life or of a story or novel i've read. I find it easier to relate when i write them in the first person rather than 'he said' and 'she said' etc, although of them are up to 4 years old at this stage. Don't read too much into anything i write because thats the last thing that i want, all im trying to do here is write...for the sake of writing not to take shots and jabs at people. Anyone who knows me knows im not one for vendettas, im all about getting on with it. Don't assume that your the only person to have ever called me names or that i've gotten into a fight with, and more often than not it'll be about something completely different than it seems anyway. My only example off hand is morning glory by oasis....this song mascerades as quite the pop song, but the hard line fact is it makes several references to drugs and cocaine. I'll apologise for any misinterpretation, but if anyone thinks i'm pointing the finger at them contact me and i'll be happy to clear it up0 Comments 884 days

My Surrender
She loved me once, as I was told.
That story died but I’m glad it was let unfold.
Now I’ve hurt a true friend,
Someone that had me smile till the very end.
Is this the curse of we can never be friends?
The way we loved was almost the stuff of legend.
Just when the fence began to mend,
The hammer got smashed, still broken in the end.
Let’s laugh together – spin our ridiculous tales.
The tales with happy endings not the ones with ill fate,
Not Romeo and Juliet, your beauty and here is the beast.
I want to make you smile again – this I can do at least.
Give me one chance, I can ask no more.
You deserve better from friends – to smile and be adored.
This is the promise I make and it’s true,
I’ll always be here and I’ll never hurt you.

Quick Shiver
Close the book
Turn the page
Shiver the spine
Haunt this age
A line in your book
Sharper than a day
Glanced quicker than a look
Flooded life’s bay
Bleed through me
Brightness of silence
The highlight of obscurity
Cut sharper than violence
Hurt the hearing
Block out the deaf
Stab the healing
Rob all the rest
Carry your crown
Bury the jewels
Let its shine resound
But forget what it rules
Win from the beginning
Don’t stop and go back
The silence is ringing
Run back on track
Go make a stance
Put away the pain
Wash bloody hands
The soul here is slain
Be counted not a counter
North, away from south
Always remember
Don’t abandon doubt

by C Bg B 126 weeks agoI bow down to your greatness oh great one.
No wonder it took so long for you to put this up.
Three in particular stood out for me.
Love, Fury... - that ending paragraph is a total TOTAL killer.
The Journey(1&2) - I get that need to re-explore something ive done as well.
Newborn Generation - this one totally rules. Ive tried to capture that feeling before. Its so hard to put it in a bottle but you did a such a good job.
I could be trite and say keep it up but I know better.
You cant ever stop being this good. Trust me I know...
