Sub Championships Ireland offers competitors a chance to compete in the fast, dynamic sport of submission wrestling.
Current the season runs from Sept-June, with 3 competitions in the 2006-2007 season and four planned for the 2007 season onwards.
The Dublin Open kicks the season off after the Summer break. The All Ireland Junior Submission Championships takes place at the end of the calendar year and is devoted to the future of our sport. The All Valley Submission Championships plays homage to the movies that got most of us started into martial arts and combat sports in March. And of course, the big one - the Nationals - takes place each year in June!

First off, the Thank yous!
Number one thank you goes to the children. Without you, there is no sporrt, and all the coaches wouldn't have nearly as much fun and fulfillment as they do each and every class.
To the parents: Thanks for your faith, support and feedback throughout the years.
To all the spectators: Thank you for keeping the events a celebration of our junior athletes and the sport. Great to see such positiviy from a crowd!
To the coaches: Great job, congratulations on everything.

Dublin Open - Juniors
Man, it is so cool to see the improvements in the skill and attitude of the children as they grow in this sport.
While they mightn't notice, as coaches and officials we can see tighter games, better understanding of sportsmanship and competing, and an overall dedication that's remarkable to witness.
Thanks to all the kids who competed and to the parents for supporting us.
