About Me

Me, Myself, and I
Bear with me, folks. I am new to the world of computers. I have a family and live in the "Empire State" of New York. My son is 9 years old and I work in New York City. Life has dealt me some challenges of late, but I do my best to cope. I'm on the cusp of making a big change at work. Wish me luck.
Music
I like a lot of different types, but as a tail-end "baby boomer", I listen to a lot of the "classics." The Eagles, country and western, Linda Ronstadt, Emmy Lou Harris. Elliot Smith was good; Ray LaMontagne and many others.
Films
Anything by Truffaut. I liked "Pulp Fiction" and "Jackie Brown"; "Italian for Beginners" and "The Best of Youth" and "Cinema Paradiso." Fassbinder was interesting. Stephen Frears, Peter Weir. I'm not one for space aliens or any Matrix-like stuff. "Blade Runner" was okay though.
Sports
NY Yankees, Italian, French and some UK soccer. I like the World Cup but don't follow whole seasons.
Scared Of
The government. Mine, yours, everyone's! Wouldn't want to die horribly or of a long, drawn out illness.
Happiest When
Travelling. I get to leave my worries and stresses behind.

The Family Annihilator - Fathers Who Kill
While mothers usually kill their children while in the grip of post-partum depression, fathers do it with cold calculation, to prevent others from having what they think is "theirs," even if the threat of loss is not real.
