- The Youth Panel are a group of living legends from the planet Awesome. They ended up on the Earth when they were forced to escape from the home planet which blew up or something like that. Now they survive as soldiers of fortune living in the Belfast under ground. These gorillas of rock only surface after dark to perform pieces of contempory theatre in the land of OMAC before sinking back into the shadows and disappearing into the realms of myth. Tales of the Youth Panel's heroic adventures have become the stuff of legends and are soon to be made into a major motion picture directed by Peter Jackson
- Summer Project- WASTELAND!
- This summer those intrepid Youth Pannellers will be taking on Hollywood as they start work on their brave new feature film- Wasteland.
The fabulous Youth Panel Players will be working with a team of crack film professionals to produce this digital master piece which tells the story of six tragic lives thrown together by an unforgiving sea of misfortune.
It's gonna be freakin awesome. Thats how we do! - The Crucible and the Childrens Hour
- There have been many great theatrical achievements throughout the years. Sophocles Theban tragedies, Shakespears Romeo and Juliet at the Rose, Stanislavsky and the birth of the Moscow Art Threatre, the Little and Large Christmas special. But all of these moments pale into utter insignificance when compared to the sheer enormity and awesome spectical that was the coming together of the Youth Panels Winter Productions of the Crucible and the Childrens Hour. I saw grown men weep and I felt the walls shake as the thunderous applause threatened to bring the house down literally atop the huddled masses who packed themselves into the stalls to bear witness to this monumental occassion. It was really good.

- OMAC & Young at Art
- The Youth Panel is a joint initiative by the Old Museum Arts Centre and Young at Art. Two groups of fabulously decent human beings who believe firmly in giving young people a say in issues that effect them. So come on then!

hey there...i just finished the Brusier Summer School in the OMAC and there was a few of us there who would be interested in being part of the youth panel in any way, shape or form?
it'd be great if you could get back to me, & ofcourse were going to be extraing it up for the Wasteland film!

Youth Panel18 weeks agoWASTELAND CAST COME TO OMAC ASAP TO COLLECT RELEASE FORMS - YOU CAN NOT BE IN THE FILM IF THE FORM IS NOT SIGNED BY A PARENT/GUARDIAN!! Tomorrow at 4pm for get-togther would be a perfect opportunity!
