SixMileWater are a four piece hailing from various areas of Cork, Ireland. Including Carraig na bhFearr, Dromahane and Blackrock.
The band was going under a variety of names as a three piece, with Joe McSweeney on bass, Eamon McSweeney on drums and Colm O' Mahony on Guitar. After looking for a singer for a bit-They stumbled upon one Patrick Hammond, whom took up the mic, and started to sing.

Gig on the 4th of April
Sixmilewater will be playing a gig on the 4th of April in Fred Zeppelins on Parliment Street (Off the South Mal).
Support on the night will be provided by Mamyko.
Doors are at 8.30 and Admission is €5.

hey lads how's the form?? just lettin ye know that we're launching our debut E.P. entitled "The Swell" in The Pavillion, Cork on this coming thursday (29th) with cork's finest rock gurus Elk and Burn us Both.. It's only €6 in before 10pm INCLUDING a copy of our 5 track E.P. we're generously incurring the cost of the cd's ourselves so we can keep the cost of entry down (we know there's a recession
