Have you ever thought that you could change something around you for the better? Have you ever become frustrated that things aren’t as they should be? Have you ever thought that if only you had a bit of a cash and a bit of help that you could really make a difference in your community?

The Be Cause Awards are here to support your ideas and help people like you. Just set up a profile, if you haven’t already got one, and tell us all about your idea or project by filling in our quick and simple form. You can also use your profile to present your idea by uploading videos and pictures to support your application. You could then be in with a chance of winning £1000 and have your own personal Development Manager to help you get your project started.

We select a shortlist every month, people vote for the best project and then whoever gets the most votes wins…its simple!

On top of this, we will award occasional special prizes and each year a Judges Choice Award of £5,000 will be given to the project with the best ongoing potential.

Bebo and UnLtd (www.unltd.org.uk) have created the Be Cause Awards to help those of you who want to make a positive impact on society

    • Unique and Exciting opportunity to get involved....

      Young Researchers

      Young UnLtd, one of the partner organisation's of Big Challenge is currently seeking volunteers to form a team of Young Researchers to gather insights about social change throughout the UK!

      This is an exciting opportunity for any young person especially those wishing to:

      Develop their skills and understanding about social entrepreneurship
      Get a ‘behind-the-scenes’ view of what young social entrepreneurs have done to make their ideas a reality
      Learn techniques to develop and conduct valuable and relevant field research about young people and social change
      Be part of a team that will publish the research findings and disseminate a report to the public and private sectors
      Go on a 2-day training residential


      This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are interested in young people, social change, politics, community activism, or social entrepreneurship. Also participants will get hands-on experience doing research in the field as part of a nationwide project.

      We are looking for young people between the ages of 16-25 to apply to become a Survey Researcher or an Interview Researcher.

      The BeCause Awards are no longer around but that doesn't mean that your project idea has to be put to oneside...

      Beware of the BeCause awards - the whole thing is a scam. Three ideas were selected one of them being my own and I was leading. Then I received a rejection by email, no explanation, no runner-up info, NOTHING

      All the awards run by Unltd are geared for under-25's and operate on a positive discrimination policy where they won't won't even answer queries if you don't fit their bullshit criteria.

      The scheme runs gig for young people to see their local bands performing and also gives young musicians the rare oppertunity of performing in front of a large crowd.
