Demons race team........about us.
The Demons race team was founded in 1977 by a group of friends from Darlaston in the West Midlands and was based at The Alladdins Lamp public House in Wiley Avenue, Darlaston. Founder members included Gerry Fiddler,Paul Watkins John Till and a few others. Last year the team celebrated it`s 30 year anniversary. Our drivers have appeared in numerous TV shows including Top Gear in 1996 with Jeremy Clarkson racing one of our cars for the day.
We were sponsored by Sony for the launch of the Destruction derby arenas game and our cars feature in the game released worldwide.

      I don’t now where you got the info about the Darlaston Demons but it was started on the car park of the Aladdin’s lamp public house by Gerald Fiddler, John Till, and me Kelvin Jowett. Paul Watkins lived in Oldbury in the flats. He was also at the start of the Demons we raced in brown and silver in them days as Fid got the silver paint from work.
