This blog is goin to be updated regularly and it's main purpose is to remind us of what we've done as a youth group and where we've been (on our Christian journey)
So...

Sat 22nd Sept : This day last year...we were at the Ulster Temple, watching thebandwithnoname and hearing (for the first time, I think) about the ONELIFE Mission!!

People keep telling us, "You're gonna be the generation to make the difference!" I believe God can use anyone whose willing to do watever he has in mind, old or young, big or small! But I also believe it's our time to shine! We are NOT the church of tomorrow, we're the church of TODAY! Sure we're tomorrow's leaders but families have old and young members...and isn't church a family?

If we want to be the generation to make the change then we've gotta get ourselves ready, we can't show others how to change if we haven't changed ourselves.

WHAT DOES CHANGE MEAN?
It means loving each other! The Bible tells us that the world will know that we are Jesus' Disciples by the love we have for one another! People are attracted to LOVE, it draws them in b'cos they long to be LOVED!
If we are a youth group overflowing with LOVE then it will spill out onto others, who will want to come and experience it for themselves!

Start by coming to Revolution on a Monday nite and saying something NICE to someone instead of mocking wat they're wearing or wat they jus said!
Don't be fake about it though! If u don't mean it, don't say it!
Look for the good things you see in each other and point them out to ENCOURAGE that person! Make them smile instead of slapping you!


CHANGE PEOPLES' VIEW OF YOUTH!!
1 Tim 4:12 says
Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.

Hello everyone!

A bunch of us are just back from Hillsborough Bible Week and it was one of the greatest weeks ever!! We all experienced God in a way we never had before and it brought us as a youth group closer. But to all those who didn't go - don't worry, hopefully you will catch the fire of the rest of us and of course we all know you'll be going next year!
