- Contrary to what people may believe or assume I do have a life outside of fishing. Well almost as I have now opened the tackle shop at the link below. I have two lovely children and a partner who is great to me! I like tats, love Glasgow Celtic and I am not a tree hugger! Just a normal decent family guy. I am a Senior grade Chef, and I paint wall murals, I am also a river patrol officer for Carlow Coarse Angling Club, and Chairman of the club, This year I never stood again for my posts as P.R.O. for the Leinster Federation and P.R.O. of the National Coarse Fishing Federation of Ireland as I wanted to consentrate on the Carlow club. Carlow Coarse Angling Supplies
Keep an eye on this site for all the latest news concerning the River Barrow in Carlow Town and indeed Graiguecullen. shame that thugs decimated the Sub-Aqua Club, hope they are caught! I plan to open a shop selling Coarse Angling supplies in Graiguecullen before the summer. As a normal working class man I hope to supply people with equipment that they can afford without the sales pitch to sell them gear they don't need!1 Comment 1004 days

During the past week members of the Carlow River Patrol rescued a 10Lb Salmon and a 7 Lb Pike from individuals along the river Barrow in Carlow town, both fish were returned safe to the river. Also this week two junior members removed a baited line with 10 hooks and handed it to the river patrol...

WHILST ON PATROL IN BAGNELSTOWN YESTERDAY WE CAME ACROSS A MAN OF NON IRISH ORIGON WHOM HAD IN HIS POSESSION 25 DEAD ROACH WHICH AVERAGED 3/4 LB IN WEIGHT, NEEDLESS TO SAY HIS EQUIPMENT WAS CONFISCATED 3 RODS 2 REELS.
