- Loughside are a female voice chamber choir aged between 18 and 30 (ish!). Originally a girls choir, they became a chamber choir in 1999 and since then have won major awards in festivals such as Bangor, Sligo, Navan and Coleraine International Choral Festivals and at other festivals throughout the UK. They have also been semi/finalists in the Radio 3 UK Choir of the Year each time it has been held between 2000 and 2006.
Sops and altos between 18 and 30 are welcome to come to an informal audition. Rehearsals take place on Monday nights in Fisherwick Church on the Malone Rd, Belfast. If you're interested, please email judeglen@aol.com for more information.
