- Formed on the very last day of upper 6th in 2005 by 2 like-minded, music obsessed chums (chris and simon), it's been a long gestation for this Carrickfergus based rock leviathan. However, it wasn't until the addition of drummer Dan Crowe in November of that year that the creative juices really began to flow. The band's first live performance didn't come until July 2006 at Northern Irelands premier summer music festival, Rock Oddity. Most recently Renetta came a proud second to Bangor band Dynamo in the Larne Battle of the Bands, winning a days recording time at Einstein Studios thanks to a very kind prize swap with Dynamo. Now all thats left to do is gig, record and have a wee bit of fun...
