    ASTON VILLA 5-1 BOLTON WANDERERS
Aston Villa returned to winning ways in style after romping past Bolton in a bruising encounter at Villa Park.

Ashley Young opened the scoring from close range early on before Gabriel Agbonlahor slammed home a second.

Johan Elmander tapped in to reduce the deficit but a fine individual goal from John Carew made the game safe.

James Milner then slotted home the rebound after missing a penalty and Carlos Cuellar headed his first Villa goal as the hosts totally dominated.

Villa fans had not seen their team win since their 2-1 home victory against Chelsea in mid-October and will be grateful to man-of-the-match Carew for inspiring a dominant display.

Martin O'Neill's side now move up to 5th after Manchester City drew 3-3 at home to Burnley, while Liverpool don't play until Monday.

I think Luke decided last february that he was going to give up international footy, this was the first time he was picked since then,so he then informed the English FA of his decision,im thinking spending time with his family had a part to play in his decision, and im so sorry for him and his family about his half brother.England's loss is most definately Villa's gain though, quality player and very underrated imho,Villa top 4 this season,UTV!!!!!

I don't think he snubbed it because of that, It's because of his Injuries, and grieving for his Half-Brother...

Luke Young was 110% right to turn down his England call-up. Fabio Capello only wants him because Glen Johnson & Wes Brown are injured.

He's right to snub England because he's far better than Brown, Lescott and Bridge yet hasn't been capped since 2005. That's not right! He's right though.

Luke Young can now focus on Aston Villa, just as well because he's our best right-back and we need him fully fit.

Please nobody reply to that Man City fan who's obsessed with Aston Villa. She says that I've been commenting on City pages for a few months but, in fact, She commented here first and I just replied. How else would I have started talking on City pages?

She's upset because we stole Dunne from them, we stole Delph from under their noses, we have a better history and tradition, we've a better manager, a better team, better fans and a higher position in the league.

    PLEASE DON'T REPLY!

Man City - TEN YEAR CONTRACT? - of what? drawing with Burnley, Birmingham, Fulham & Wigan?

Were ahead of you in the league now so just go away! Were a better team, better fans, better history, better position and a better manager!

5-1! What a response to the Wednesday night farce against West Ham. Seriously, the ref was terrible at Upton Park!

Agbonlahor now has 7 goals to his name this year. Young, Carew & Milner have 3 goals, who said Young & Carew weren't performing this year? Great to see Cuellar score his first goal for Villa as well.

Carew was immense! Reo-Coker showed that he should start every week (him and Petrov). Great to see Luke Young starting as well, he's our best right-back!

5th in the table in November - WE CAN FINISH 4TH!

    COME ON VILLA!
