- The Grampian Police Pipe Band was originally the Aberdeen City Police Pipe Band and was formed in 1907. The Band has had a long and proud tradition of playing at events and competitions throughout Scotland attending highland games, police events and has became a particular faviourite with the people of the North-East of Scotland. The band currently plays at grade 2 level.
The band is made up of both police officers and civilian members of approx 44 members from all walks of life. The band currently practices on Mon & Thursday nights at Linksfield, Aberdeen. If you are interested in joining, please visit
