- Straight out of Dungarvan, Silver Trail have been playing together for two years. Taking to the stage for their first gig in late 2005 as support to The Revs, just a month later the band were extended an invitation from the Republic of Loose to support them at their sold out Limerick show. Silver Trail were busy gigging throughout the country over the last few months but took a break to record and release their debut single "One Kiss".
The band have already earned a lot of supporters in the last year as a result of the radio release of a self produced demo. The band were favourably received by a number of radio stations including Red fm, Wlr fm, Tipp fm and Beat 102-103 to name but a few.
Silver Trail headed in to studio recently with renowned Cork producer Tomás Mulcahy (Cartoon, Stanley Super 800) to record their first single. Silver Trail's style is a unique blend of funk and acoustic rock that boasts originality and demands recognition.
The band are currently working through a hectic rehearsal schedule and plans for an Irish tour are afoot, with further releases planned towards the end of the year.

Hey guys,
We'd like to take this opportunity to ask anybody reading this to vote for us on Roddy Cleere's Myspace Top 8. It's a mini chart on Roddy's Irish music show (friday nights WLRfm)
To vote simply go to http://www.myspace.com/roddycleere and you'll find us in the poll on the main page. The show will be aired this Friday at 10pm and the chart is played from 11pm. There's two polls there, we're in both, so feel free to vote in both of them.
As for us we're back on track after a short break. We moved house and had to do a bit of re-jigging. We're closer to getting the single out there, will keep ye posted.
