Test Duration 35-40mins.
Test Prices: Weekday £62.00 Saturday am. £75.00
Max Number of minor faults 15 Passes. 16 or 1 serious=Retest.
Test Readiness: Drive independently with hardly any prompts.
Misconceptions: Examiners do not fail to satisfy a pass rate.
To many candidates are taking the test before their ready, so examiners don't need to think pass quota. | | | Test Pass Info | | If the examiner offers to process your licence I recommend it. If you don't apply within 2years then you will have to resit all tests etc. So let the D.S.A. process it & it will be sent to you within 2 to 3 weeks. | | | Instructor Grades 4-5-6 | | All Instructors must display a valid registration on the windscreen. Grades are achieved by check tests. Examiners occasionally sit in on lessons to see instructors remain above a certain standard.
(Grade 4 = Adequate)
(Grade 5 = Good)
(Grade 6 = Exellent)
Personally, I've never been a Grade 4 only a 5&6
Nationally most are (Grade4) next (Grade5) & (Grade6's very rare). | | | Lesson Structure Advice | | Lessons should be structured in a fashion to each individuals ability. No driving experience to some driving experience the Controls lesson differs as does subsequent ones again depending on experience.
