Ok ok, so I missed a podcast last month. Oh, and this one is over a week late! In all fairness, I did record it the back end of last month, but didn't have time to upload it before I went away for a few days ...

'Traditional' funky house releases are becoming thinner and thinner every week and as a result, this months episode is much more of a vocal electro affair. In saying that, it's not particularly edgy, with the majority of tracks giving that 'hands in the air'/'feel good' vibe. My favourite track this month? The Kid Massive Remix of Greg Stainers Long Verb. It's a little deeper with a short but sweet piano loop throughout - definatly worth checking out.

Happy new year! Hope santa was good to everyone, but if not, do not fear as this months mix is an absolute stonker!

New tracks/remixes from H&H Soulsurvivors, Freemasons and Eddie Amador take care of the more soulful stuff then the mix moves into some vocal-electro onslaught featuring the band spanking new track 'If You Knew' from Chris Lake. Next up is some filthy bassline lead electro followed by a couple of nu disco tracks which could quite possibly be my two most favourite songs ever. The Edwin van Cleef Mix of Grum's Heartbeats (no, not a Jose Gonzalez remix), and Mr Oizo's Flatbeat. Oh, and then I got carried away and threw in some primal scream for good measure. Never say we're not good to you!

Welcome to the 'relaunch' carwashangels monthly podcast, and what a way to keep your ipod entertained over the christmas period!
