He's here! My nephew, Elijah Garrett Haney, was born at 12:25pm (just in time for lunch). He is 8lbs 6 oz. and 20 inches long. He looks like my brother, Mark. I am extremely proud of this most handsome, my brother will not allow you to call him beautiful, nephew. My sister (in-law just for clarification purposes) did amazing. The nurses started her on pertossin at 10am and he came at 12:25pm. He is laid back and and only started making noise when he got a bath, then back to quiet and relaxation for him. I will upload more pictures of him later, when I get my pictures put on CD, look for the updates you won't want to miss 'em. Congratulations Haney family, you have every right to be proud! I Love you, Elijah!

My Parents just celebrated their 37th Anniversary, what a rare and huge blessing to have parents that not only support me, but support each other. How great to have highschool sweethearts still together, thick and thin. How great to have two people represent what it means to keep a commitment sacred and honor each other by honoring their vows. Nice to know that it can happen and I actually know real people that have lived it and keep living and loving. Cheers to my parents and to all the years they still have to enjoy together. Love is a gift that cannot be bought. The other most fabulous thing in my life is that I could receive a phone call at any moment telling me to come and see my beautiful neice/nephew (gender unknown). Celebrating the continuing of love and the beginning of life, doesn't get any better than that...unless I get a's on my test this week. Find a reason to celebrate your own life or someone else's and see if it doesn't lite-up your face like a 2 year old.

I recently got hired at Quik Trip, so if you see me in the red shirt behind the counter, please be nice. I am really excited about my new venture.I needed a job that would be flexible with my school hours and wanted a job that would also be flexible with Tae Kwon-Do, well I got just that same job. I go for orientation on Monday. I am not for sure what store I will end up at, but look for me. They are a great company to work for and even have a tuition reimbursement plan for their employees, I am going to utilize it too. School is going well, I have tests every week it seems like, but I am not only learning, I am retaining and that is important. Fridays are my favorite, b/c I get to work with living, breathing patients that aren't my classmates. I have truly chosen to go into a fantastic profession and thinking about it makes me excited about my future. I am still looking for a church, but I am supposed to go with one of my friends to Church on the Move. I guess time and willingness to finf the right place will help me figure it all out.
